Blue Springs Eternal

July 18, 2012 By Karen Cooper Leave a Comment

Well, I convinced my son that a lighter color in his room would be better.  So, I chose Benjamin Moore’s Blue Springs. It’s a grayish blue, and much, much lighter.

As for the Duke logo, I ordered this to go on the wall.  It’ll be easier than painting the logo over the blue paint.

I have spackled the walls and now I need to go sand them down and finish the prep work.  Tomorrow, we paint!

Progress:

Sorry for the crappy iPhone picture, but that was all I had handy.  Note the different colors tested out on the wall.  The light grayish blue one is Blue Springs.

Please ignore the unmade bed…someone forgot one of his chores this morning and I was too tired to remind him.

Love spackle.

I’m off to sand.  Wish me luck!  Are you working on any projects today?  Let me know what you’re working on – I’d love to hear about it.
