Want a great way to remember each year’s Halloween costumes?

I had a brainstorm this year. Tervis Tumblers – which I love (as explained HERE) – now has a way to customize cups! You can add photos, backgrounds, stamps, and text. I thought a fun way to remember each Halloween would be to customize cups with photos of the kids dressed up!

It’s really easy – here’s how to do it.

Go to the Tervis website and click on “create” – you can find it HERE. Choose the size tumbler (or water bottle) you want to customize.

Next, you’ll get to a screen that allows you to design your tumbler:

You can add a background: choose from patterns, florals, holiday, football teams, and more.

Backgrounds in every color, pattern, and holiday design!

You can add photographs by clicking on the “Images” icon. The “layout” icon will let you add more than one image in different layouts.

Note: When adding images, the customizer works better if your image name does not contain an underscore or similar character. So, before you upload your image into the customizer, just make sure you name it first. (I used “Halloween 2015,” for example.)

You can also add text or stamps to your tumbler. FYI: the more you add to the design, the slower it takes the website to process what you’ve added. In other words: don’t go crazy with the images or stamps.

When you’ve finished adding a background, photos, stamps, and text, save it (give it a descriptive title) and click “Next” in the bottom right corner. Then you are ready to check out. Before you do, though, don’t forget to add lids or straws to your order! (I got two blue lids.)

The great thing about saving your project on the Tervis site is that, when you go to the page of saved projects, you can reorder anything you’ve saved. This is a great way to order cups for family and friends at holiday time!

Oh, what a great idea that is! If you have kids, you could give the grandparents or other relatives a new cup each year with pictures of your kids! (Mom and Crystal, act surprised when you get these as gifts!) I love that!

Head on over to Tervis and customize your own tumbler! It was easy and, if you do get stuck (I did because my browser froze!), their customer service is awesome. You can live chat with them right there and they are incredibly helpful!

I’ll post a picture once I receive the tumblers I designed.

Happy Halloween! You all be safe tonight and watch out for little goblins!
