Day 30 of Thirty Days of Gratitude

November 30, 2012 By Karen Cooper 3 Comments

We made it!  Day 30 of the Thirty Days of Gratitude Project!  I know you can’t wait to see what I’m grateful for on this last day of the project.

But first, let’s recap what I’ve written about so far. (Each one links to the post about that topic, FYI.)

Day 1: Dear Husband
Day 2:  My Home
Day 3: Coffee
Day 4: Socks/Socks for Sandy
Day 5: That the semester is almost over (no blog post; crazy work day!)
Day 6: Voting (election day)
Day 7: Freedom of speech
Day 8: Silence
Day 9: Friday
Day 10: Duke basketball
Day 11: Space planning
Day 12: Cooking (and the week’s menu)
Day 13: Clogs (only posted to Facebook; long day at the day job)
Day 14: Paper calendar
Day 15: Proper Grammar
Day 16: Finish It Friday/a day off
Day 17: Supportive blogging community
Day 18: Hodgepodge (result of having a sick kid)
Day 19: My Children
Day 20: Guardian Angels
Day 21: My brother
Day 22: My life
Day 23: The Motherbird
Day 24: The holidays
Day 25: Sunday mornings
Day 26: The dogs
Day 27: A flexible work schedule
Day 28: Confidence (I fixed my toilet!)
Day 29: My friends

Whew!  That is a lot of gratitude! Actually, I’m excited and proud that I blogged almost every day during the project.

Which brings me to today.

On this final day of the gratitude project, I am grateful for you.  Thank you for reading my blog.  Thank you for supporting me.  Thank you for sending me helpful and encouraging comments.  Thank you for inspiring me.

Thank you.

I started this blog in January as a fun side project.  I thought it would be a fun way to write about what I’m thinking or working on, and I was just glad that a few friends and family members were reading it. It’s turned into much more than that, and I am grateful for that.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to do that and for listening.

My friend Susan-Anne said she’s going to turn this project into a calendar, so that she is reminded of what she’s grateful for all year.  I think that is a fabulous idea.  The gratitude shouldn’t end with November, after all.

But today, this project ends.  Let’s do it again next year, ok?
