The first night of Hanukkah is Sunday! Time to break out the menorah!
We have several menorah (menorahs? menorim?) at our house: My husband brought the one in the above picture home from Israel. We also have a kids menorah that’s a train and another one that my son made when he was two.
You can DIY a menorah pretty easily. And each of the projects featured below can be customized with your favorite colors.
Here are some of my favorite DIY menorah projects:
This is an easy menorah project to build from Ashley at Simply Designing. I like how you can customize it with your own choice of paint color (although I love the teal and silver!).
If you have some extra mason (or other) jars, paint them for a beautiful and creative menorah like this one from Yesterday on Tuesday.
I love the colors used by CraftyPod in this menorah, made with tissue paper and Mod Podge. You could choose any color tissue paper for this menorah.
The Crafeteria made this menorah from scrap wood, rocks, and candle holders. Tal used glitter and sharpies to decorate her menorah; I would skip the glitter and use blue and silver sharpies to color the rocks and paint on the wood.
Happy Hanukkah! Even if you aren’t Jewish, I hope you try one of these easy and fun DIY menorah projects in your home!
Pretty!!!!
Thanks!!
