My Five Favorite Things from the Country Living Fair

October 24, 2015 By Karen Cooper 4 Comments

Happy Friday!! Today, I got to spend a fun Friday at the Country Living Fair at Stone Mountain Park! Now that’s a fun way to spend a Friday!

If you’ve never been, the Country Living Fair is like a fair/crafts fair/antique mall/shopping trip all rolled into one! I love going for the food (can’t pass up a fair corn dog and fresh lemonade!), being outside on a nice day, and, of course, the shopping!

This year, the booths at the Country Living Fair were definitely influenced by the popularity of farmhouse-style and Fixer Upper! Lots of painted signs, mason jars, and more.

Here are some of my favorite things from the Country Living Fair:

Dogs Don't Eat ... - finds from the Country Living Fair - thediybungalow.com

I loved these salvaged letters, especially as a reminder to the dogs that they don’t eat pizza!

Grocery painted sign - finds from the Country Living Fair - thediybungalow.com

This “Grocery” sign is just like one in Joanna Gaines’ home! There were several like this for sale at the fair.

Topiaries on a fall tablescape at the Country Living Fair

Topiaries were everywhere! I loved the height they gave this tablescape.

Horseshoe pumpkin at the Country Living Fair

How cool is this pumpkin made from upcycled horseshoes? I loved it!

And this might have been my favorite…

$225 Tripod Lamp at the Country Living Fair

I prefer my $20 version of the tripod lamp!

Olive baskets at the Country Living Fair

I had such a fun time – thank you to the Country Living Fair for providing me and one of my fabulous readers (Missi!) with tickets!

Happy Weekend, Y’all!

Loved the sign…love graphics like that—especially useful when downing corn dogs—as Lisa quoted washed down with Margaritas!

        * and yes hot dogs are one of those foods where ignorance is bliss! And a corn dog perfection!
