You Never Know What You’ll Find at the Thrift Store

October 25, 2013 By Karen Cooper 3 Comments

Today I thought I’d share with you some of the weird, wacky things I have found at my favorite thrift store. You never know what you’ll find at the thrift store, and mine never disappoints.

For my favorite tips on shopping at thrift stores, click HERE.

For example, I found the bag of Jeff Foxworthy dolls and created my famous wreath:

That wreath is now winging its way to Australia! No, I’m not kidding…hopefully pictures will be coming soon.

Here are some other fun things I’ve found at my local thrift store:

The boot pitcher/vase. This may be the one thing I really regret buying. It’s just all levels of awesome.

Is it a cow? Is it a unicorn? Who cares…it’s spectacular.

Wooden shoes…a Heidi Halloween costume, anyone?

His and Hers penguin mugs! The perfect anniversary gift. I especially love how they’re both cutting their eyes the other way.

And, finally, what FORMAL outfit would be complete without a “green formal bow tie”? For 69 cents, it’s a bargain for being so formal!

What wacky things have you found at your local thrift store? Share in the comments!
