Thirty Days of Gratitude, Day 2: Sundays

November 2, 2014 By Karen Cooper Leave a Comment

It’s a little late to post this on Sunday night, but I am thankful for Sundays.

I love Sunday mornings.  They are slow and sleepy, like we are. I set up the coffee the night before so all I have to do is turn it on.

I usually make pancakes.  From scratch.  Because it’s so much better and not that hard.  (Who ever thought that it was so hard to make homemade pancakes that they had to make a chemical- and preservative-laden mix for it?)

The kids go to Sunday school and Dear Husband and I have time to regroup, plan our week, read the paper, and enjoy some time together.

We spend the day at soccer, or watching football, playing outside, gardening.

It’s delightful. It’s the perfect wrap-up to the weekend.

What are you thankful for today?
