What’s Trending at the Country Living Fair 2016

October 21, 2016 By Karen Cooper 4 Comments

I had such a fun day at the Country Living Fair in Atlanta today! It was very windy (!!), but it was cool and felt like fall!

As I walked around the Fair, I noticed several trends – things that popped up at several different booths and that people couldn’t get enough of. Rather than just telling you what was trending, I thought I’d show you!

So, for today’s Friday Five: five things trending at the Country Living Fair this year!

Check out this very short video:

What’s trending at the Country Living Fair 2016:

1. Sugar molds (I bought one, too!)

2. Dough bowls.

Seriously, these were everywhere, in every shape and size.

I love my dough bowl (not purchased there; purchased at Scott Antiques Market)!

3. Galvanized everything!

Light fixtures, windmills (think Fixer Upper wall decor), buckets, olive buckets.

4. Sleds!

There were vintage wooden sleds in many of the booths. There was a ton of Christmas decor throughout the Fair – ornaments, wooden Christmas tree shapes, vintage Santas, and more!

5. All things Fixer Upper.

If you’ve seen it on that show, it was at the market. Everything from printed signs, to tulip trays, to windmill blades, to magnolia wreaths, to industrial stools, to cup and plate racks. Farmhouse-style rustic decor was definitely the big theme.

Also, I auditioned for Flea Market Flip! It was really fun!!

If you have a chance, head to the Country Living Fair, whether in Atlanta or in your neck of the woods!

And now I need to decorate my home for fall!

Happy Friday, y’all!

Thanks to Stella Show Management for the tickets to the Country Living Fair! I had a blast!
