Spring Decorating in My Family Room

March 6, 2016 By Karen Cooper 23 Comments

As you know by now, I love spring! It’s my favorite season.

I love putting away the winter stuff and doing some spring decorating.

I put away the heavy blankets and bust out some bright colors. Today I thought I’d share my spring decorating in my family room.

I love finding affordable seasonal decor. The galvanized pails (pictured above) came from an estate sale and were $15, and the lanterns on the mantel, below, came from the Target Dollar Spot!

I bought that little bunny when we had the nest of baby bunnies in our back yard! This year, we seem to have a momma bunny who comes to visit, but I haven’t found her baby bunnies yet. (And thankfully, neither has Hank or Elvis Parsley!)

Happy spring, everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying warmer weather!

lovin the flowers , and the bunny for effect … i like to set potted hyacinth by the door , like being greeted by the scent when i come in … where did you get the Be Brave pillow … love the sentiment, as we’re always seem to be conquering one battle after another on somedays!

Happy Spring Karen! Your home does look like Spring just landed and is settling in for a visit. Perfect. And Hank needs to hang out with my Flora…she’s my shadow and shares a new instagram page with her ‘sister’ Puddles. puddlesandflora
But…I do have to say up front that as a mom of a Carolina student, we might have to part company during basketball games!
In any event, well done welcoming Spring into your home.

    Happy Tuesday,

    Hugs, Lynn

Thanks, Lynn! Hank is definitely a Duke fan, but he says he’ll check out the pups’ Instagram account! 😉 Happy Spring!

Great minds think alike! I just put a bunch of faux forsythia in an old galvanized bucket and put it on the patio table for some colour!! Love your sap buckets by the fireplace!
