Country Living Fair Tickets Winner

I want to announce the winner of the Country Living Fair tickets: Missi Smith! Congratulations! I hope to see everyone there Oct. 23-25, and I’ll be live posting from the Fair on Friday, October 23. Be sure to follow me on Instagram, Twitter, and Periscope (@dogsdonteatpza)!

DIY Workshop at Atlanta ReStore

Second, THIS SATURDAY, I am teaching a class at the Atlanta Habitat for Humanity ReStore! I’m going to show you (at least) five projects you can make with old stair spindles!

The class will be held in the building next to the ReStore on Saturday, October 17, at 2 PM. It will last about an hour and a half. I’d love to see you there! You can register HERE.

In other news, on the Mohawk Home blog, Mohawk Homescapes, I wrote about how little home decor buys can make a big impact! You can find that post here.

In personal news, we still haven’t found a new furry friend for our family yet. We’ve met several dogs, but none that works well with all of us yet. We’re still trying and we are so grateful for all the rescue groups who are helping us!

update: We adopted Elvis Parsley! Read his story HERE.

I’ve never made it to the Country Living fair despite Stone Mountain being practically in my back yard. I’m going this year! Loving the cool, lovely weather …

Five projects with stair spindles? Hmmmmm, sounds like a Friday Five for those of us too far away to attend, although I’d love to! Enjoyed your post on Mohawk Homes, too.
